“Manny” was a stakes winning racehorse who still believes. He healed at Safe Haven from an injury but was deemed a pasture pet. Taking him in changed the course of our lives, for the better!
“Billy” came to keep Manny company. He dreamed of being a polo pony but it didn’t work out. He has the warmest eyes and is super gentle. Here he is meeting my mother, who has dementia, but remembers her many years as an equestrian.
“Elby” got his name because of his “L” and “B” brand mark. He was a lesson horse and his 20 years of experience and super patience has helped us build confidence.
Every day my husband and I find new reasons to fall in love with our beloved horses. We have promised to care for them for life, no matter what, and we are grateful Kate Goldenberg matched them with us.
